Have I made the right decision?

Hi guys,

I've just purchased a used but good condition Dell XPS 13 9333 for £300 online but haven't paid yet. I've just noticed there seems to be a common problem of a high-pitched whine coming from every one who owns a 9333 series. I'm just wondering whether I should keep it or back out of the sale...

Specs are quite decent:

Intel i7-4500u cpu @ 1.8ghz
8GB RAM
256GB SSD
Backlit keyboard
Windows 8.1

Any advice would be greatly appreciate!!

That would really annoy me ... one suggested solution is to keep a usb key plugged in - I could live with that I guess if it works.

Is £300 a good price (I'm not from the uk)?
