Having the same problem with hp pavilion dv3 pliz assist me.

I unplugged the power cable of my hp dv3 yesterday. Today when I want to boot, the screen is just black. Yet the power light is brinking but can't turn on. What can I do. Of course my battery seems to be dead and was just using power from source.

Power light is blinking? Sounds like it's in sleep mode, unless there is some other hardware issue outside of just a dead battery.

Remove the battery from the laptop, and try running it only on wall power.

Before that, unpug both battery and wall power and hold in the power button for about 30 seconds, then plug in the power and try turnig it on.
