Hdmi and scart connecting

I have a new Samsung smart TV with hdmi sockets but my dvd has a scart port (2 rows of ten pins) does anyone know how to connect them please as I’m so not technical! Many thanks

As far as I'm aware SCART leads are quite old now, but there are in fact adapters for SCART to HDMI.

Cheaper & easier to just buy a new dvd player in all honesty.

What tv model exactly ??
If it has red/white/yellow rca inputs its doable with a cheap cable.

Thanks for replying, It’s a Samsung 43M5510
The dvd is a Sony recently purchased from Argos so I’m probably better to return then aren’t I ? As the tv doesn’t have the red/yellow/white option either.

Probably best to return the dvd as it was £25 so to pay another £20 ish for a cable seems daft. Thanks for your help

Not sure exactly what that means sorry (but I've looked at the back and it doesn't have 3 holes for the red/yellow/white if that's what you mean?

If you can return the dvd I would do so personally , I thought most dvd players (if not all) would have hdmi output nowadays .
