Trying to hook up older plug type tv to hdmi bluray have hdmi to colored ends cord help please and thank you

The colored cables are in analog format where the hdmi is a digital format. You cannot achieve that without an active convertor. If your blu-ray has a SCART output or any other analog type output i advice you to use that output.

You can't use a cable that has HDMI at one end and RCAs at the other. HDMI is digital and RCA would be analog. The cable is for specific uses only.
