HDMI port on ASUS laptop

Hello,
I am having a hard time figuring out how to display a picture from my ASUS laptop to my tv going through the HDMI input on the laptop.

Assuming you mean HDMI *output* on the laptop, are you trying to extend or clone the display to the TV?
