HDMI Question

I have a Sony 46 inch tv, a timer warner cable box and yamaha receiver. I ran the cable from the wall to the back of the timer warner box, then hdmi out from the cable box to the back of the receiver, then hdmi out from back of the blue ray player to the back of the receiver, then I ran hdmi out from the yamaha receiver to HDMI 1 on the tv-- i have video but no audio-- shouldn't I get audio through the tv speakers and have the subwoofer working off the amp?

Not sure if you can run a sub with tv speakers. Maybe the receiver is outputting to the receiver speaker jacks only. You have things set up correct though. Check your settings to see if speakers are off. And on receiver to see where it is outputting sound. If you have ht speakers try hooking them up and test. Any audio from sub at all?
