Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help me.
I have purchased an 8k HDMI splitter which appears to work perfectly with my xbox i get 4k 120hz and also says it has detected i can do 7.1 surround/dolby however no sound is coming from my AV Reciever. I fell like the solution is simple but have tried multipul things and can't work it out.
Reason for splitting.
AV reciever: Panasonic VSX-330 - doesn't provide hdmi 2.1 features
TV: Samsung Q85T which has all the features but doesnt send any surround format through the arc.
I have tried in the arc port of the reciever and the other ports, tried turning arc of in the settings of the reciever.
