Headphone jacks emit buzzing sound.

I'm almost certain this is a common problem, but my new Logitech S120s have this persistent buzzing sound whenever I plug my headphones into them.

Incidentally, the same buzzing sound happens if I touch the speaker's jack to my fingertips, except that it's MUCH louder.

This actually happened to me, and I'm curious on the answer. I have Realtek HD Audio manager installed.

Does the buzzing noise persist if you plug your headphones directly into your PC?

Are you sure the cable connection is secure?

The problem does not happen at all if I plug it into the PC.

I have definitely secured the cable connection.
