Headphone mic is not working.

Its plugged in and unmuted.
the driver is enabled and i have the Realtek audio manager detecting it
Im using discord to test it and the mic sensitivity is as low (high) as it can go.

Any ideas?

If its a usb headset sometimes changing the usb socket cures it . Have u configured the mic in recording devices?

Yes i have and with this mic it has 2 cables, one for mic, one for headset, both plugged into correct port. The USB on this headset only powers LED

open volume mixer bottom right of desktop see if its muted there too :0
Check if its default recording device in recording devices .
Thats all i got.Its just 2 wires and a condencer microphone It may be broken .
When you configured the Mic in Recording devices did you see the level indicator moving?

nah when i went configure, the bar didn't move at all when i spoke, it moves when i wiggle my mic tho for some reason, same case in discord.

Ye thought so, i tried my old mic that has a working mic but it didnt work either. hmmmm

Are u plugging it into the back panel or the front header? Maybe switching round may help

Ok the last thing to try i guess is the sound driver for your motherboard as both headsets are not working . You are plugging it into the pink socket?
