Question How do I fix my mic? When I plug in my controller it stops working.

My mic stops working after plugging in my controller.

Most of the time it remains connected to the pc as a default device but sometimes it doesn't recognize its plugged in.
I have disabled the audio playback and recording of the ps4 controller.
My audio interface still picks up me speaking but it just doesn't go through to windows.
This happens a few seconds after plugging in or unplugging it from the end of the cable.
My mic is a shure sm57 plugged into an audio interface that goes into my computer.
I have tested this with both a ps4 controller and xbox controller so I don't think that is the problem.
I also use equalizer apo for my mic and headset if that has anything to do with it.

Any ideas?

So I managed to somehow find the fix for this. For some reason RGB fusion was the cause of my mic not working when my controller was plugged in. I noticed the RGB flash whenever I plugged in my controller at the same time my mic would stop working so I thought I might as well test it as I tried anything. And it worked, no more mic issues. Just going to have to use a different rgb software now.
