Headphone stops working while mic plugged in

I'm using a Logitech G231 gaming headset on my Windows 10 laptop, the headset has one plug, so I'm using a jack splitter for mic. When only the audio plug is in the sound works fine, but the audio immediately stops working when I plug in the mic. (It does not show up as plugged in)

I've tried to reinstall audio drivers. What should I do?
