Headphones for gaming. Please help fast

I'm either going to buy the dt990 pro's plus creative sound blaster z or the hd 598's plus asusmxonar dgx. Which will be the best for positional audio and make me feel immersed in the game. I only play fps's so I need to know where footsteps and gunshots come from but still have amazing crystal clear sound quality. If you have any input towards my needs, please say. I'm only looking at these two solutions. Thanks

BTW, I will not be using surround sound.

They both have awesome sound quality, but the DT990 will probably suit your needs better. I have heard that they are more focused on details and it seems like that fits your criteria for footsteps and gunshots. The creative sound blaster z is also a better sound card than the asus one.
