So I'm looking for a good pair of good gaming headphones to go with the Xonar U7.
I want to make use of high db sensitivity, the U7 being at 114, but high ones always seem to belong to Razer, which I hate. I'd like some particularly good looking high db sensitivity stereo headphones that can make use of the U7 that could be used for gaming, and I also hate ugly looking headphones.
Any suggestions?

it seems that you are more worried about high db sensitivity than actual sound quality and are reading a bit too much into the SNR rating.

also keep in mind that DB sensitivity is not the same thing as SNR. one expresses how loud the driver will be at a certain electrical level while the other explains how much distortion and electrical noise is introduced during amplification. they are not interchangeable.

what i would suggest doing is answering some questions:

what is your budget?
headset or headphones? you mention headphones yet talk about razer.. which makes headsets.
is this in the usa? if not, where?
what kind of sound profile are you looking for? (treble heavy, neutral, bass heavy, etc)
are you looking for open or closed headphones? (open=airy, big soundstage, crisper, bad bass, poor isolation.... closed=less soundstage, better bass, good isolation)
is design of the headphone (aesthetics) more important than them actually sounding good?
..........any other preferences you may have or requirements (such as you wear glasses or have large ears and need them to fit)
