I have a Logitech G430 which I loved when I first bought. Then, after 3 days of owning it the wires started to curl and tangle. I just let it and went on with it for about 3 months with only that issue. Then the audio quality would change every time I moved the cord. It became this echo noise that made some parts of audio quiet and others louder. So i would bend it around till the quality got better. I did that for good while. Then today, the headset will officially not play normal quality (only the echo sound) without me pulling on it.

Solution
sounds like a cable issue to me as well.

technically the cable should be replaceable if you know how to solder. that would likely fix the issue. certainly cheaper than buying a new headset if you have the tools at hand.

if not, be sure to take care of the cable on any replacement headsets. this is why i make it a point to always coil the cable when storing my headphones and to uncoil when taking them out of storage. a little care goes a long way towards the life of your devices.
well letting your wires get all twisted is a recommended practice for everybody....duh not. you damaged some of the wires in the cable and thus your various results.... time for a new headset and this time take the time to keep your wire flexible free and untwisted. just unplug it now and then and run down the cable to remove twisting and loop over kinking...

Yeah I tried unkinking it originally but I will try to find another way to do it. Will update afterwards.

the wires are likely broken. having sound cut in/out or having odd noises when you twist/pull the wire is a clear indication of that. no amount of untwisting will fix that.

giving you two choices:
a) replace the cable. if you can solder and have some heat shrink tubing its not terribly hard to do.
b) replace the headset. its not a very expensive headset so its not a total loss. take better care of the next one and it should last longer
