Headset issues (hear own voice, discord picks up comp sound)

Recently I got some strange issues that weren't occurring before. As stated in the title, when I talk I can hear my own voice in my headset. Along with this, discord has begun picking up every computer sound that plays and echoing it back to people I talk with.

I have the "Listen to this Device" box unchecked, and I tried turning mic boost off, to no avail. My headset is a HyperX Cloud Revolver, and I have the latest Realtek HD audio drivers installed. If I cant fix this I will likely try reinstalling windows, so if anyone has suggestions, I would like to avoid that.

I don't know if this is a possible cause, but Realtek HD audio manager shows up in my Startup list in task manager twice. Any help is appreciated and if you need more information let me know.

Hey everyone,

This issue is a really strange one, and one I cant find much info on online. For some reason, any sound my computer plays is picked up by discord. I know its not the microphone, since even when its muted this still occurs, and I can clearly see its not picking up sound in the Recording Devices manager.

I recently got a new HyperX Cloud Revolver, if this could have caused it because it happened at the same time. Any help appreciated.

I have the same exact issue with the same headset. They've even sent me a new Y cable and it still doesn't work properly.

Not a solution but I don't recommend reinstalling windows, I have the same issue on a brand new pc not even 2 weeks old. Fresh install. I have a Razer Man O' War TE and even when the mic is muted if I play youtube or any audio it still plays through. I can't seem to figure the issue.
