Headset mic not working

I having some trouble with my headset/mic. Uses audio jacks btw, when i play any game the in-game chat doesn't work. I cant hear them and they cant hear me. Then when I use discord or Skype everything works just fine. I cant figure out what going on. Please help.

Which games exactly. Usually you have to configure/select your mic settings within the main platform, e.g steam, origin etc

League of legends, pubg, fortnight, pretty much any game. I tried changing every ingame settings but nothing works

Check your drivers. Try to clean and re-install your audio drivers. Download them from your motherboard's site and select the proper OS.

I have still nothing. I guess I'm just gonna buy a new headset that uses usb...

That may not solve your issue but you can try. Since it works with some programs but not in games, it indicates a driver issue. Was it always like that? Did you change anything or had an OS update? Post your specs and we may find the root cause

Windows updated. I uninstall and download my audio drivers already. I have an old usb headset that works with every thing.

You can try these things:
Run the Windows Device troubleshooter in control panel
Run sfc/scannow
Check the integrity of cache files through each gaming platform
Eventually re-installing a game should fix the issue
