I am not entirely sure what information would be necessary here. So I will just give some obvious information. If anything is missing or needs clarification please ask. I check this all time and will get a response pretty quick unless I'm asleep.

So, tonight I unplugged my Razer Blackwidow Expert "Port" plug, so I could plug in a USB extender for my Tartarus. As soon as I did that my headset started making this weird static noise for about 1-3 minutes then it stops for about 5-10 minutes or so. I have all my drivers updated and I've never experienced anything like this before. Any idea's on what may have caused this? Any troubleshooting I should do to determine if it is hardware or software? I'm afraid I am out of my range here for troubleshooting.

OS: Windows 10
Mic: Audio Technica 2020+ USB
Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Expert

**UPDATE** Seems the issue has corrected itself. During the course of the time it took me to write up this article and edit misspellings it seems to have stopped. I use a virtual audio mixer called Voice Meteer Banana. This software allows me to use multiple sound interfaces (WDM, MME, and KS). I switched these back and forth for a while landing back on WDM which I'd used originally. Since the interface swap the static hasn't returned, it has been over 20 minutes now.

**UPDATE** 1/19 - Its back. I have no idea whats going on. Please help someone.
