heating problems dell inspiron 5521 15R

i purchased my dell inspiron 5521 15r 9 months ago.
specs- 500gb HDD
4gb ddr3 ram
intel core i5 3rd gen processor.
2gb ati radeon 8730 hd dedicated graphics..

and since 1 month I obeserve that its heating upto 55 degree C within 15 minutes performing no tasks. And the palm rest becomes hot and uncomfortable to place hands while typing. I am scared why it happened . I did enquiry the dell customer care, they replaced the cooling system consisting a copper simk and the fan. But of no use. May i know wht is the real problem. Please help me !!

I'm looking at some pictures of that Lap top and it appears there are vents directly in the middle on the bottom. Try not blocking those. My brother had a Dell that would overheat and he would have to stick a pencil or pen under it so that it would have more breathing space. You could try getting a Cooling pad like this

i need a genuine reason , why it suddenly started heating whem I am not running games..
