Hello I have a emachines E442 ( I know its old but its on windows 10, been cleaned and has advanced systems care on it so its

Laptop won't boot, led comes on, fan spins for a second then cuts of, hard drive okay but black screen, can hear it trying to boot for a few seconds after a min of nothing then stop it gets hot cause fan's cut out so have to turn off??????

Most likely faulty ram. Reseat the ram sticks or remove one to see if it boots. If not then motherboard may be the issue.
