Hello! So my laptop restarted and it showed Operating system not found and I restarted it again trying to boot it but no such

Acer with windows 8 suddenly restarts and when it opens, OS could not be found. I tried restarting it for a few tries trying to boot it then suddenly it no longer showed OS not found and worked fine. How can I prevent this from happening again?

Hi,

The fact that it happened once already meaning it would happen again in the future. Normally the solution for that error would be to reinstall Windows already. I would suggest on start backing up your files already and proceed with reinstalling Windows to prevent the same problem from happening again.

Make backups and run Win's diskchecker, go to the command prompt as Admin and run the command CHKDSK /R
