Help choosing a laptop.
I need a laptop that can handle my YouTube channel uploads. I have a Ps4 which ill be running an elgato hd60 on and i will be editing my videos on sony vegas i will also use Photoshop plus an additional program to record audio. I dont think i will be running all of these at once. Which one of these laptops would you recommend.

For just doing video you want the best CPU and most RAM, I'd say the i7 system. You can compare the CPUs at sites like cpuboss. http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-4510U-vs-Intel-Core-i5-5200U

One thing is that the i7 CPU in the laptop you picked is a dual core.

You may want to look for a quad core laptop i7 laptop, will help a lot with video editing speeds.

Here is an older i7 quad core laptop CPU vs the newer i7 dual core, see how much faster the old i7 is in the 64 bit benchmarks? http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-820QM-vs-Intel-Core-i7-4510U

Older chip but due to more cores it may work better for you, I like the W510 and W520 models, used they are 1/2 what the new laptops you are looking at cost and will likely perform...

So something like this?http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00M08NW5U/ref=mp_s_a_1_24?qid=1426001963&sr=1-24&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70

How much of a difference does a quad core processor make?
Would 8GB of RAM be ok?

If you check the cpuboss web site, you can compare any two CPUs there, plug in the one you now looked at compared to the other one and you can see how they match in benchmarks.

8 gig will be fine to use, my main desktop system has 6 gig of RAM and an older i7 CPU and runs through video processing as good as my i7 W520 laptop (which is why I recommended the W510 or 520 uses since I own one and have very good results with Lenovo models) which has 12 gig of RAM.
