Help connecting a itrak soundbar to Sharp TV

I have a Sharp LC-26SH12U-26SH12U TV which only has one ditigal audio output how do I connect the tv to the soundbar

If the soundbar does not have an optical input, you need to get a converter or use the headphone out jack if the TV has that.

My soundbar does have a optical output and I did get a converter but I still get no sound from TV to soundbar what else can I do

Is it an output like an RCA connection or a small rectangular output? Did you set the TV options to use that output instead of the internal speakers? Soundbar set to the right input if you have more than one?

I still get no sound from tv into soundbar but I do get sound from my dvd player to the soundbar is there another cable I need I have an adapter and optical cable and rca connector

How is everything connected? Your DVD player should be connected to the TV and then the TV output goes to the soundbar.
