Help connecting old receiver to new television

How would I connect a Sony HST 201 receiver with a new television? The receiver has no HDMI ports and I can not figure a way to connect the two.

Have you tried a RCA cable between the two? It will probably work

The model number of the TV would help.
In general most TVs have digital optical audio output and your old receiver may only have analog RCA inputs. You will need one of these to connect them

plus the cables.
The TV volume control will not work through this connection so you will have to use the volume control on the Sony.

Have you tryed a rca rf modulator Plug the modulator to a wall outlet, then rj6 to tv , and rca to yr receiver.
