Hello, I have a Dell Precision M4600 and I run almost at full load for long periods of time (running 4 Virtual Machines and some other stuff) and the CPU temperature goes up to around 88ºC (avg is like 83-85ºC). I need a way to cool down my laptop. I already have it inclinated so the fans underneath can make air flow, and the vents are on the back (like in a tower PSU) so the air flows in that direction.
I've read someone who said that cooling pads span your fans lifetime (idk why, he didn't tell), is that true? 'cause I was thinking of buying this one: http/www.ebay.com/itm/5-Fan-Laptop-Notebook-USB-Cooling-Cooler-Pad-Stand-Adjustable-High-Performance-/121612522240?hash=item1c50abd300 (even if I don't turn it on, it has little holes where my laptop's fans are so I can use it just as a stand).
Then I found this: http/www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Laptop-Air-Cooler-Ventilation-Radiator-Mute-Exhauster-LCD-Display-Cooling-/321831513888?hash=item4aeea72f20
But I'm not too sure about it... I've watched some videos where they say this cool down laptops for around 5-10ºC. Is that good enough? is it better than cooling pads?
So my laptop would look like this with that vacuum thing: http/sketchtoy.com/65827735
The problem is that the vacuum will block the holes for the fan on that side, and idk if that thing makes it up for that or it's worse in my case. I need any help in general, I've always had a PC and never a laptop.
Thanks.
