Help me build/buy a laptop

My budget is £700/$900, laptop can be a build or straight buy and will be used as a good day to day worker that can be used for gaming and some programming. I want the best for my money so help a clueless guy out and give me your opinions, thanks in advance.

That budget is in the nVidia 1050Ti/1060 range, exact model would depend on what you have available in your area. If you need to add another 10,150,200 to the cost to get a 1060 vs a 1050Ti, that would be worth it, also get an SSD at least 250 gb in size, standard drive is not worth it unless you buy an SSD yourself and upgrade.
