Help me choose a headset!

I have been looking at some headsets. These include: Plantronics 780, Logitech g430, Corsair 1500 & 2000....
My price range will go up to £100 or $160 but over that is a bit of a stretch.
If anyone could give me some suggestions that would be great!!

they're all pretty solid with respect to their price range. the only one I'd remove is the 1500 - it's wired but usb based, and imo not worth it.

the Vengeance 2000 is a better choice even though its wireless.

the gamecom 780 is also good (again for it's price), but if your budget is $160 max, I'd either go with the g430 or 2000. I havent tested the 430 but have heard good things.

you should look at audio technica too if you're in that price range. their ATH-m50, while stereo, is one of the best headsets I've tested for gaming. stomps most 'gaming' models
