Help me choose a light weight laptop

I plan on buying a new computer soon as i've stated in a previous thread. I had settled on a Asus (http/www.amazon.com/ASUS-X202E-DB21T-11-6-Inch-Touchscreen-Laptop/dp/B00CWISC5I/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top) but then i got an unexspected budget raise. So now i can spen up to $550 instead of $400.

So i found a few more options (In the poll).

Heres a list of my required specs:

Ram: 4GB
Weight: 3 LB
Screen size: Up to 13 inchs
DVD drive: No
Tough build, no crappy plastic.
Possibility to install linux

Optinal stuff:
Backlit keyboard
VGA port
i3
Long battery life
What i'll be doing on it:
Writing
Video
Interent
Email
Gaming (TF2 via steam and light in browser stuff)

Acer Aspire V5-122P-0857 seems to be a good choice IMO.

I will also suggest you to consider ASUS K55N-DB81, its $449.00, but it has 15 inch tho.
