Help me choose between the new XPS 15 9550 and the new Precision 5510

OK. I think I am down to choosing between 2 Dells - the new XPS 15 and the new Precision 5510.

Can you tell me what pros/cons you see from each one compared to the other? (or help me with the additional things you'd look for?)

The difference in price seems to be about $400 (Precision costing more)

They seem to weight about the same, the Precision being a bit heavier

It's more for general productivity work, research/internet so I know performance wise the XPS would probably do just fine.

That's why I need to compare them on other than performance too....like how easy it is to change the hard drive, or the memory, etc. I want a system that's going to grow with me since I tend to keep them a few years. But I need to put a value on those kinds of things to justify the ~$400 extra.

I am also trying to find out the exact hard drive model in each system but I'm having hard time getting that information from the Dell sales rep.
