I'm in the market for a gaming machine but the more I do research the more I get lost with all the choices available.
To make this easier I will separate my wants and needs into two lists below:
Needs:
144 Hz IPS G-sync FHD panel
8th generation i7 processor
GTX1080 or GTX1080 max-q
RGB keyboard
Thunderbolt connection
Wants:
17 inch preferably over 15.6 inch
USB 3.1 ports
2.5 inch bay for files storage
Slim form factor
That's basically it I really like the Zephyrus with the 8th gen processor but it lacks the extra storage I kind of need or much prefer and the smaller screen is a let down.
The AORUS X7 DT V8-CL4D seems to be the best choice but it is not availabe to buy as of yet.
Is the 17 inch much better than the 15.6 for gaming?
I actually think the xephyrus would have a better key board layout for gaming as it mimics desktop keyboard but I'm not sure about that.
Can anyone recommend one or the other? I am tempted to go for the Zephyrus since it's ready to be ordered but I need some help with this one
