Help on best free anti virus etc for windows 7

My norton internet protection ends soon, and would like to know any recommendations for the best free antivirus etc programs there are. From what i have seen, the top 3 seem to be avira, avg and avast. Can anyone recommend any programs for antivirus, spyware etc...

avira free antivirus ,malwarebytes free, this is for spyware , pctools firewall plus free edition,great free firewall!and ccleaner for registry and windows cleaning!all free all fantastic!

Exactly the tools I would suggest.

Avira has very good internet security, real time updates, great overall protection.

Malwarebytes is one of the best malware scanners.

Ccleaner is a great all purpose tool. The most useful tool is probably the registry cleaner.

I concur with Saran and aford, save for the antu virus program. This is a personal preference, but I've never had a problem with AVG Free. I has Avira for awhile, but it seemed inept compared to to AVG, but that's just me.
