Help on Which laptop should I choose between these two?

Hello all, I posted before asking suggestions for a laptop that would be suitable for Java coding, visual studio, and to play football manager, to which i got a great solution.
Since then I have found two laptops and would like to hear your suggestions on which one I should go for.

1st laptop: Asus R501jn-XO053D
Specs: i5-4200h - 45w tdp
Nvidia 840m 2GB
4gb ram
500gb HDD 7200rpm
1366x768 resolution screen (lack of fhd doesn't bother me)
6 cell battery

2nd laptop:MEDION AKOYA P6647
Specs: i5-4200m - 35w tdp
Nvidia 825m -1gb
4gb Ram
1920x1080 Fhd screen
500gb 7200rpm HDD
4 cell battery

By looking at some benchmarks i can see that the i5-4200h is slightly higher on the passmark benchmark , around 10% higher . The only thing that works me is the 47w tdp on the i5-4200h, as I am thinking this would affect battery life terribly?

Both laptops are the same price.

Neither are going to game at 1080p. The extra pixel pushing from the higher resolution monitor is going to negate any extra power the H series is going to use. They will probably be the same battery life wise, or even worse with the 1080p screen. I would recommend the ASUS.

Definetly the asus laptop...Altough, both are not very good performance wise.
