I've pretty much narrowed it down to these last 2 and they really check off almost all the boxes that I want in a laptop that I can find under 600$ with taxes and shipping(i5 or ryzen5, 8gb of ram, 256ssd, 14in screen, aluminum chassis, thinish under 0.75in) Was just wonder if anyone on here has purchased ether one of these? any input or advice is welcome thanks!

It really depends on what you'll use the laptop for! If you're going to do some general usage, like watching videos and movies, schoolwork, typing up documents, and browsing the web etc, both laptops should be great for these tasks. If you plan to game or do anything that is heavy on the GPU and CPU, then the Huawei may serve you better because it has a better Vega 8 integrated GPU, which is better than the Swift's Intel UHD 620, and a Ryzen 5 2500U CPU, which is slightly weaker than the i5-8250u in the Swift but is still a good CPU.

Hope I helped!
