Hey guys,
So I was on my laptop today and a tiny bit of water got into the gap between my trackpad and trackpad buttons. It's now moving around a little and I can't move the cursor unless I use force on it. What do I do? I have a Dell inspirion 14z.

Water is a conductive surface. You will have to wait for the trackpad (or whatever else got wet) to dry. You can reproduce this problem by having sweaty hands like me.

You should also know some steps to take when you spill water on an electronic device. Turn it off, take out the battery, don't turn it on until its dry. Depending on how much water was spilled it may be a few ours or a couple of days. Putting the device in a bag or tub of rice can help draw moisture out.

I spilled about half a glass of water all over my mechanical keyboard. It took an entire day for it to dry.
