Question Spilled water on my laptop, but it’s working fine.

So I recently spilled some water on my laptop. It wasn’t a large amount, but enough to cover around half of the trackpad and some of the keys. I dried it with my shirt and stupidly forgot to turn it off. Somehow though, it was working completely fine and I didn’t notice any problems with the trackpad or keyboard. Just to be safe, I’ve had it flipped over for around 12 hours, I plan on leaving it this way for another 2 days or so. Does this mean that water likely didn’t reach the components?

It likely reached the components, but (fortunately) did no damage. If you have a small desk fan, I'd probably have that moving air around the laptop as you let it dry.

Is it possible it could cause damage though? Or will it likely dry before then? Also, when drying the laptop with a fan, should I have it in a tent position as to let water go down?
