Help to code in Android Studio

I want to make an alarm that you would enter when you want it to go off (just like the stock alarm app, or any alarm app for that matter), can someone point me in the right direction. I've looked and all I've found is alarms that go off in 15 seconds or something like that. P.S. non video tutorials would be better but...

You need yo understand some concepts before just "coding".

Go to your library, and get a book on Android development.

Looking at available Table of Contents, this one should be a good start.

I can't see in the Kindle sections the dead-tree versions of books I have read on the subject.
