Hi all,

I have a laptop and the battery has died, as by died i mean that it refuses to charge above 5% - meaning it it pretty much useless.

First, the specs.

Laptop - Acer Aspire 5741G
Battery - AS10D31 (Li-ion 00, 10.8V 4.15 Ah , 4400mAh 48Wh)

Now the question;

The replacement batteries I have come across have different voltage (11.1V) supplied. Is it fine to use these in my laptop, seeing as these are the recommended batteries for the laptop?

I have found some which have the same voltage, but at the same price the extra charge (extra 9Wh) seems a better option to go with.

Thanks all,

Hi :)

Acers are VERY particular on having the CORRECT battery....(usually the one with the blue sticker)...

Get the identical one to yours... voltage/ah etc etc..

All the best Brett :)

Thanks for he quick answer,

Was thinking this would be the case, but as always, its best to ask

Regards,
