Help with picking a laptop?

Hey guys,

I currently have the ASUS R510DP-FH11 that I bought last week, however it feels very slow and for some reason I am having A LOT of problems trying to get any games to run on it.

I saw that Lenovo is having a very good deal going on for laptops at the moment, so was hoping someone would help me decide which one to buy I am going to be using it for schoolwork/watching videos/ and some gaming. The two I am debating between are

Lenovo Y40

Edit: If there are any laptops for <$700 I would consider buying those, if these are not any good

yes most likely light gaming, like League of Legends, Maplestory, Minecraft, etc. Something that could also maybe play like Fallout 3, etc on medium settings

The Y40 unless some one else has a better idea. The Y50 will not be hitting anything on Medium settings besides minecraft.
