Razer Blade 14 or Gigabyte P34G or Acer Aspire V7-482PG-9884 or the lesser i5-4200 CPU V7?

All have their pros and all have the cons, but which would you buy for optimal price/performance?

Those are the ultrabook-ish gaming selections i'm down to. Any advice is appreciated.

My first piece of advice: don't buy the Razer Blade. It's way overpriced for the specs offered.

Secondly: For $1,400, the Gigabyte laptop is OK, however, I know of a Sager one that when customized, has a better graphics card, however no SSD (but one can be added for more money) at about $1,000.

As for the Acer, it is a nice laptop, but the touchscreen is really an unnecessary added feature, and the same specs can be got easily for $950 (Again, in a Sager laptop).

I noticed that these all are basically Ultrabooks. Are you looking for a gaming Ultrabooks? Because they are pricier than just a standard gamin laptop.

I can send some links and some specific laptop recommendations if you want.

Hope I helped!

Thanks for the reply. I am actually looking for something like a gaming ultrabook, that's why those were the ones I was looking at. If you have any suggestions on others, please let me know.

My thoughts were the same about the Razer Blade and how expensive it is. I'm hoping they bring the price down by $500 for the 256SSD as they did last year for cyber monday. How much of a concern is the TN screen that everyone complains about? Is it that much of a let down?
D
I definitely want something that can run on pretty good settings games such as WoW, Starcraft, Diablo III and Crysis 3, etc... So a pretty good GPU, 8 GB RAM (4 is fine if can expand), an SSD, and a good screen/Display. This will be for both doing a half and half split with work and gaming.
Something 14" or smaller is a must, as some of the work I do is sitting in a car and using it on the go...

... I'm not too demanding am i? Lol

That would be killer, but I really need something 14" and under and definitely not as chunky. i would like something a little more sleek.
Thanks! It's still very tempting just to get one loaded up for around the house!
