Hello,
I am a novice. I want to know if java and adobe have an android compatable app. If so how do I get it, and is it necessary. Some tasks I am trying to do call for adobe flash player and java. Deb

It depends on your Android version. The earlier versions of Android like 2.2 Froyo ran Flash just fine. However, Adobe has decided to discontinue Flash on the Android platform with the release of Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich." You can still download and run Flash just fine, and they will continue to release security updates, but future versions of Flash Player will not be released on Android.
