I connected my laptop to my TV screen using a VGA cable. I've tried opening videos using VLC, Windows Media Player and Media classic player but although the player opens the videos do not play. I can see everything EXCEPT for the video. Things are playing fine from youtube and such, could it be because some of the videos are 1080p? Is there some way to fix this?
