Hi I have recently bought a 11.1 volt battery li-Lon 7800 mah, I have an original dell charger at 19.5 volts will this charge. Thanks in advance any input at all would be a great help.

Is the battery the same voltage and capacity as the original?

What you call a Dell charger is just a 19.5v power supply. The charging circuit is in the laptop. The 19.5v power supply does not tell you anything.

No the original is 6 cell and it says on it that it is 19.5 volt. The adaptor also says the same..the new battery 9 cell
li-Lon I bought says it is comapatible with my dell model it states it is 11.1 thanks in advance.
