.hide files are missing

I made some images hidden in gallery.. when i got insufficient space in my device..i ve moved all the phone contents to sd card..i dint notice that in files the SHOW HIDDEN FILES option is off..now i lost all the hidden contents.i cant find the .hide file now in my sd card.what am i supposed to do now..?..how to retrive it back..?

I would start with turning on the show hidden files option and then moving them.
