High Speed HDMI from Ebay

For my home theater, I sometimes want to play my games from my computer, and I'm wondering if I can go the budget way with Ebay, or that I need to go all in with a known brand...

Unless your projector supports 144Hz to start with, no matter how much you spend on HDMI cables (at least those are cheap), it won't work.

So if I get correct HDMI cables things should be better...?
atm I'm using cheap ebay HDMI cables, not tried to game other than with PS4 and Xbox, and I have no trouble with that...

I'd be very surprised; 144Hz is a headline feature. That will be internal motion interpolation.

It'll be 1080p60, like everything else. Consoles were likely only 30Hz.

the reason why I'm asking is because I just ordered a gaming computer, and was thinking of sometimes using the projector as a monitor

but I guess I might need a better projector?

Gaming on 60Hz is still perfectly fine. Consoles are usually only ~30FPS anyway.

Nothing wrong with gaming at 60FPS.
