Hello all!

I'm presented with an issue at the moment. We're undergoing some renovations at my house that involve a 50" tv with some surround sound The way that everything will be situated as far as the tv and surround sound speakers go, we will not be able to run cable to the rear speakers

Now, here is kind of what I'm shooting for:

The problem is, I'm not sure that this is what I ideally want. I'd like to have a receiver like that, but instead of the transmitter being a single unit, I'd like it to be two smaller units that are say, battery-powered. If you have any other solutions AT ALL, don't be afraid to post! Thanks for your time!

I don't think battery receivers or speakers would be a good solution. You'd end up swapping the batteries every other day. Or losing sound 1/2way through a movie.

So it looks like maybe what I have is what I need to get then. I kinda wondered whether or not wireless would be a good idea. I knew that I'd have to at least run power if I wanted something permanent. So let's say I wall mount the speakers. What would be a good idea for clean cable management? I do NOT want trashy wire hanging on my wall just free floating.

Haha, not quite what I had in mind. I plan to wall mount the rear speakers. The problem is, I'd prefer not to drill holes for wire. Maybe something to go around the wire? Here's a 2-minute sketch of it...
