Hookup an Amazon Fire tv 4K to Bose 321 GS series 3

I am trying to hookup an Amazon Firetv 4K unit to my Bose 321 GS series 3 so I can watch on my tv but hear the sound through the Bose system

Fire TV connects to TV with HDMI.
TV optical audio output to Bose optical input.
Check the TV manual on how to use the optical output and the Bose manual on using the optical input.
