How can I avoid not enough PSU?

I did a format a few weeks ago, all and every drivers and updates installed, and now I tried playing Dark Souls 2. 15 minutes to the game, my laptop suddenly closed. The FPS was fine in the game and all settings were high. I tried again and after 10 minutes another shutdown. After I searched a bit, I think the problem is due to either PSU or some kind of hardware-software conflict. This laptop could run Diablo III (low quality) and have no problem with it. I have downloaded SpeedFan afterwards and tried running the game in Windowed mode always checking for temperature, it didn't seem to go higher than 95 degrees.

Also the non-expert me is curious about if those 2 crashes damaged anything.

The shutdown was with no time-out or warning, as defined in /p in the link you gave.

Look at the logs in the bios

According to http://www.ehow.com/how_7720270_bios-system-log.html the logs are not listed, I need to contract developer of the BIOS but even that is not shown anywhere. I am thinking of using SpeedFan to check the laptop's limits for Dark Souls 2, is this a good idea?

It would not be a power issue, it's a laptop not a desktop. Maybe overheating or your video card is going bad. 95C is very close to the thermal limit on many mobile processors at which point they turn down speed or crash.
