Which make and model? Some tablets don't have a phone facility.

If you're sure it has one, phone a friend and ask them what number rang them.

I'm confused now having searched and found this site - https/rcaav.com/tablets/android/voyager-marshmallow/ - because the top photo shows o telephone signal availability icon but the one further down does.

I think the answer is the facility is there but you have to buy a SIM card and put it in yourself. That will have the number printed on it and it can be Pay-As-You Go or one that ties you into a contract.
