Hello everyone! :)

I am new to this forum and was wondering if you can possibly help me please: I just purchased an external monitor that can handle 1440p at 60HZ. However with my Geforce GT 635M I can only get it at 44HZ. I did that by using the Custommodeapp and set this resolution. I am happy with the resolution but not with the 44HZ. ;) Do I have to replace the existing GPU with a more powerful GPU in order to get 1440p at 60HZ? Or can I possibly use this thing here in order to solve the problem? It is kind of a external GPU only for the external monitor I guess. :)

I do not know if I am allowed to post amazon links, if so I'm sorry!

What would you do in my situation to make the 1440p work at 60HZ? What would be the cheapest solution?

Thank you a lot in advance!

I am connecting the monitor via a high performance hdmi cable but I guess my gpu is just too weak. Yes I updated the drivers.
