Without makes and models numbers we can't help. Which remote or remotes are you missing.
If you don't have the remote for the soundbar you likely won't be able to adjust the volume with the TV remote unless they can be connected with HDMI and CEC turned on in the TV.
If you can't access the TV menus you won't be able to turn on the TV audio output and turn off the TV speakers.
