How can I make my laptop run directx 11? Or make the directx 11 required game run directx 9?

I just downloaded Alien:Isolation. It requires directx 11, so that was installed while the game downloaded. However, my computer's graphic card can't run directx 11. How can I make my laptop run directx 11 or how can I make Alien:Isolation run with directx 9? I've tried changing the game's shortcut with " -dx9" added to the end, but it didn't work. Please help.

Sell the old one, buy a new one that support directx 11.
